Now, we have a new study which concludes that high carbohydrate intake was associated with higher risk of total mortality, and the total fat and individual types of fat were related to lower total mortality. It also adds that the total fat and types of fat were not associated with cardiovascular disease, myocardial infarction, or cardiovascular disease mortality. The interesting part- it goes on making a recommendation for reconsidering. Global dietary guidelines.

Perils of Prediction- there will be another study to debunk this.
