Relationships remain important in older age. In a survey conducted by RELATE with Ipsos MORI, 83% of people over 50 agreed that strong personal relationships with family and friends was the most important factor for a happy retirement.
RELATE suggest that good relationships will be key to enabling the baby boomer generation to have a better old age, and constitute an essential pillar of ageing, alongside financial security and good health.
