Up to 40% of baby-boomers do not know when they would like to retire or when they expect to retire according to a survey conducted in 2009, and a further 43% report that they would consider working beyond the age of 65. An interesting 19% expect they will never retire completely or expect to “work until they drop” but that only 10% of baby boomers have discussed retirement with their supervisor or employer.
