Currently showing: Funding longer lives

20 Jul 14 20:54

Our 150th anniversary activities have come to a close, but not without one last offering. You may remember that as part of our anniversary year, we asked folks from all walks of life what was on their minds. They shared their views about - and ideas to solve - some of the world's biggest challenges. Challenges such as food security, sustainable energy solutions, climate change and funding longer lives.

We listened.

Viviane Blumenschein did too. And she captured the thoughts of over 200 people on camera, collecting over 500 hours of footage as she followed the global dialogue from Switzerland to South Africa, from the United Kingdom to the United States and finally to China.

This is her film.

Come along with Viviane and journalist Bill Emmott as they discover the voices, thoughts and ideas from people across the globe.

Because we're smarter together.

Beautiful movie... And while Swiss Re's 150th is drawing to a close, the dialogue continues as the challenge of solving these interconnected global risks has never been greater.

The movie reminded me of where we started one year ago, captured by Jennifer Rodney in this blog:

What was the key learning for you during Swiss Re's 150 Year Anniversary?
